Our Clinical Psychologists provide psychological assessment for a range of presentations including neurodiversity, memory, cognitive function, personality, and gender identity.

Hormone Treatment Referrals

Sound Psychology Ballarat offers psychosocial screening in Ballarat for transgender and gender diverse people. Where appropriate, the assessment can result in a referral to an endocrinologist for hormone treatment or to a surgeon for gender related surgeries. Assessments are done consistent with the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) guidelines and are respectful and trans-friendly.

Cancellation Policy

A 50-minute session is booked just for you. We do our best not to keep you waiting, and only book one client per hour. Please contact us as soon as possible to re-schedule if you are unable to attend as arranged.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or you don't turn up to your appointment, you may be charged a cancellation fee of the full fee applicable for your session. This fee is not covered by Medicare / Workcover / TAC / Third Parties, and applies to all clients. The cancellation fee must be paid within 7 days or at your next appointment, whichever is earlier.
